Gettysburg or Bust, 2022
Hopefully the 3rd time really is the charm. Covid cancelled our plans to visit Gettysburg in 2020 and 2021 but so far we are on track to walk the hallowed grounds this summer. There will be 14 of us in the fellowship of history including 6 students.
Our visit will include tours of the battlefield led by myself; a Reluctant Witness walking tour of the town led by Ken Rich; a stop at the Flight 93 Memorial; and a visit to the archives at Gettysburg College. The cost is $150 per person (student & adult) payable in February. Checks should be made out to Hardin Northern. |

When the smoke had cleared at Gettysburg, over 7,000 men had lost their lives and over 51,000 were casualties of war. When Abraham Lincoln visited 4 months later to dedicate the National Cemetery,
